CAIRO – 22 December 2020: Through its various sectors, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture has participated in a number of international intellectual and artistic events in 2020. Initially, the General Egyptian Book Organization participated in the New Delhi, Casablanca, Muscat, and Sharjah International Book fairs. The Academy of Arts also organized the second scientific conference entitled "African Women, the Icon of the Brown Continent" online. The Theater Art House participated with the show "Ana Carmen" [I am Carmen] in the International Women's Monodrama Festival in Algeria and won an award for best performance. Also, The “Harem El Nar” show participated in the activities of the 27th International Festival of Experimental Theater.
