"The way I proposed it to the club was that it wasn't going to cost the club anything, there was no risk involved. Outdoor markets have been allowed to continue operate throughout lockdown, even in level 5, albeit with strict rules in place. Such is the popularity of the market, there is a waiting list in place with traders wishing to get involved. The organising committee have received a grant from the Department of Agriculture under the Rural Innovation fund. The Achonry Farmer's Market has also recently become affiliated with the Sligo Food Trail.
