A man who was shot by police seconds after he allegedly shot a defence lawyer last week made his first appearance in court Monday morning. Grayson Delong, 51, wore a neck brace and a prison-issue orange jumpsuit as he slowly walked into the prisoner’s box in a College Park courtroom. The court heard that Delong has “limited movement.”Delong will remain in custody. His lawyer David Quayat told the court he is consenting to Delong’s detention and confirmed to reporters that no bail hearing being sought at this stage. Delong is next set to appear in court on these charges on Oct. 31.
