more-inPanvel City police on Wednesday night arrested a 19-year-old man, who was absconding in a murder case, from Chirvat village near Palaspa in Panvel. The accused, who has been identified as Shubham Bhagwan Thombre, was arrested based on a tip-off. He went missing after Dyaneshwar Kondilkar (29), who worked as body guard, was found murdered on Tuesday night. Prithviraj Ghorpade, Assistant Police Inspector at Panvel City police station, said, “After the murder on Tuesday night, we circulated the photo of the accused among our informers. The accused was presented before the Panvel court on Thursday and has been remanded in police custody till August 21.
