DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS) - Police today arrested three unidentified youths in connection with the fatal stabbing of student Shahriar Sharmin Binti (14) in Hazaribagh. During the drive, police also recovered a blood-stained knife, the victim's blood-stained clothes, and a mobile phone from him. She was rescued by local residents and taken to Sikder Medical Hospital in a critical condition. Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared her dead. Billal Hossain filed a murder case with Hazaribagh Police Station.
