Opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government (FG) to account for the N800 billion recovered loot which the Minister of Information and Culture said the FG had made. The party in a press conference in Abuja said this charge to account for the recovered loot has become necessary as the said amount has allegedly been re-looted by persons in government. The party said it was compelled to task the Federal government to account for these monies because the Federal government has employed tactics of frustrating whistleblowers as part of measure to truncate in-going exposures of sleazes in various ministries and agencies of the government which came in the mantra of fighting corruption. APC is suppressing information on corruption, says PDP. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alerts Nigerians of desperate efforts by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration to divert attention from the stench of monumental corruption in its government.
