Emerging technologiesAccenture will sponsor work-related to advancing innovation and solutions in the application of Blockchain, 5G, cloud, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies within universities and their technology business incubators dedicated to fostering future entrepreneurs and startups. Rolan Marco Garcia, institute director of innovation and entrepreneurship said Accenture's grant and tremendous technology capability will usher in the next game changers that will create an impact in building digital transformation solutions for nation building. Inclusion and diversityAccenture will help the development of female-led technology entrepreneurs and startups by the Miriam College (MC) Technology Business Incubator program, specifically through program support that encourages science, technology, engineering and mathematics education among female high school students. At De La Salle College of Saint Benilde Hub of Innovation for Inclusion, the grant will enable the development of user experience, design and delivery solutions for people with disabilities. MC president Ambassador Laura del Rosario envisions the partnership with Accenture "shall accelerate and expand the use of technology innovation in our country by increasing gender diversity, and providing access to people with disabilities in the field of technology through incubation programs, capacity-building activities, mentorship and access to funding."
