The sector Minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta during a visit to the site, explained that “the action would save the lives of motorists and pedestrians who use the major highway connecting the Greater Accra region to the Eastern region." Three months down the line, however, no progress has been made as nothing has been done in the area. Photographs shared by some residents in the area showed that nothing had been done so far with the residents lamenting about the predicament. A few of them told www.ghanaweb.com that they were unhappy about the situation as they remain unsafe, living in fear every time there is a downpour.
