Calgary police say a toddler has died after being struck by a vehicle in southwest Calgary. Police said the collision happened Sunday around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Horton Road S.W. The first was after a man in his nineties died of his injuries following a collision on Jan. 28 in the southwest Calgary community of Upper Mount Royal. Last year, fatalities on Calgary roads hit a 10-year high, with the city recording 15 pedestrian deaths.
