Even before the nearly two-hour performance began the makers of Absinthe, who teamed with AEG to bring the run to L.A., had impressed by transforming the event deck at L.A. Live into a European cabaret, creating a “Spiegelworldtent” that transports the patrons into a different world. Absinthe is a natural for Vegas, an escapist world for people on vacation looking to let loose. But in answer to the question of whether Absinthe would translate, the answer is one hundred percent yes. That is a world we can all use right now, making Absinthe the perfect vehicle for 2017.
