The 24-year-old man from the village was soon sent to hospital after being detained on Friday night. The authorities locked down 120 families as the patient came into contact with locals. "During the treatment, the man displayed symptoms of Covid-19, prompting doctors to collect his samples to test for coronavirus and refer the patient to Kurmitola General Hospital." However, instead of going to the hospital, the patient fled to his village in Ghatail upazila.
