About 30,000 book slots for coronavirus vaccinations


As of 8:00am today, about 30,000 Hong Kong residents had booked appointments for the vaccination against the coronavirus disease, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Alfred Sit, said on Tuesday. The government website covidvaccine.gov.hk for registrations came online at midnight. Vaccinations will be given at five centers and 18 general outpatient clinics of the Hospital Authority to those over 60, healthcare workers and essential staff, cross boundary workers and residents of care homes. Twenty nine 29 cavvination centers will be set up for residents who have made bookings online. Out of these, 24 centers will provide the Fosun Pharma/BioNTech vaccine.
