The remains of Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo Cardinal Vidal have been brought inside the mauseleum at the back of Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. As of Thursday noon, Vidal's family and bishops who arrived from all over the country are currently at the inner chamber of the mauseleum. Tomorrow, permanent structures for his final resting place will be laid. About 20,000 people joined the funeral procession for the cardinal on Thursday morning. The procession along the streets around the Cathedral took about 30 minutes.
