Aboitiz Land Inc. (AboitizLand) is finalizing the terms of its joint venture with Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) to develop a 1.2-hectare (ha) condominium project in Mandaue City, Cebu province. Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV) property arm and CLI inked the deal back in September. “As AboitizLand continues its aggressive expansion in Luzon and Metro Manila, we remain grounded in our Cebuano roots,” he said. Apart from this, AboitizLand also recently formed a joint venture with Ayala Land Inc. to develop Gatewalk Central — a 15-ha mixed-use development — located in Mandaue City as well. In Metro Manila, AboitizLand recently partnered with Point Blue to offer rental micro studios, primarily catering employees “tired of dealing” with heavy traffic going to business districts.
