Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State will on Thursday inaugurate a 57 -member Elders’ Advisory Council. The newly constituted Governors’ Elders Advisory Council (GEAC) comprises of critical stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and outside the main political parties in the State. Members of the Council include statesmen and women which include the immediate past chairman of the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC). The Advisory Council will be inaugurated at the Obas Complex inside the State Secretariat in Abeokuta by 2 pm. Members of the Council include statesmen and women who have the requisite governance, business and political experiences necessary to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people, the statement added.
