In its efforts to further improve the economy of Aba, the Abia State Government on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with Total Value Integrated Services Ltd, TVISL, for the development of N30b Leather/garment Cluster in Umunnator in Obingwa Local Gvernment Area, near Aba. He assured that the state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu would commission the project before leaving office in 2023 and appealed to the traders to take advantage of the easy payment method to acquire shops. In his speech, the host traditional ruler and Nwachinemereze I of Ahiaba Mbu Autonomous Community in Umunneator of Obingwa Local Government Area, HRH Eze Okechukwu Okwandu assured of peaceful environment for the cluster to exist. They pleaded with the contractor to ensure a quality job is done and urged the governor to do more.
