The film is to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently, the Gustakhiyan team considered Abhishek Bachchan for the role. Though Junior Bachchan hasn't confirmed anything yet, it seems like he is not going to be a part of the film either. Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently shooting for Padmavati with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
