Aberdeen sign Norway international keeper Per Kristian Bratveit after Nick Suman injury

Aberdeen have signed goalkeeper Per Kristian Bratveit on an 18-month contract after the Norway international's deal with Stromsgodset expired last month. Bratveit will provide backup to number one Dimitar Mitov after Nick Suman picked up a serious ankle injury in training. He signed for Swedish club Djurgardens in 2019 and subsequently won his solitary Norway cap in 2020. "When we learned the extent of Nick's injury, we moved quickly to sign Per Kristian, whose contract with Stromsgodset had come to an end last month," sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel said. "He is an experienced goalkeeper, having played extensively across several strong leagues and clubs, and he also has senior international experience with Norway.
