“Si Ernie (Abella) will stay with the administration. But I’m sure it’s not going to be zero for Ernie,” Andanar said in a radio interview. Abella has not been visible since the President announced last week that he has appointed Kabayan party-list Rep. Harry Roque as his spokesman. Asked if Abella is now on floating status, Andanar said Abella “will have a place under the administration.”Andanar noted Roque’s appointment is a “prerogative” of the Chief Executive. “Maybe the President wants aparticular style so he opted to replace Ernie Abella… at the end of the day, the President will choose whatever is comfortable for him,” Andanar said.
