The Ondo State Police Command, on Monday, confirmed that the commercial driver, Felix Akinde, abducted by kidnappers along Ado Ekiti/ Akure road has regained his freedom. He, however, did not confirm payment of ransom before the commercial driver was released after spending some six days in the kidnapper’s den. The released commercial driver was said to have visited the Ado garage in Akure on Sunday to appreciate his colleagues role in securing his freedom. The hoodlums who Kidnapped him contacted the Akinde’s family, demanding N5m ransom before reducing to N2m. All efforts to reach the victim to speak on his experience but were not successful.
