Abdoul Abdi, a former child refugee from Somalia who is facing deportation after foster homes did not apply for his citizenship as a child, feels he has a second chance after a recently completed prison term. "If anybody thinks that throwing away your second and last chance is something to gamble with, this is crazy," Abdi told co-host Rosemary Barton. Abdi, 23, was recently released from prison after serving four-and-a-half years on charges that include aggravated assault. Abdi, who was recently released from prison, is fighting for Canadian citizenship and faces possible deportation. Now that he is out of prison, Abdi said he is no longer a danger to society and just wants to be a father to his child.
