Kiwi defender Abby Erceg has led the North Carolina Courage to the National Women's Soccer League title in the United States. It was her second title in three years, following the Western New York Flash's win in 2016. Erceg said the short turnaround hadn't forced the team to change their mindset too much. Earlier in the week, Erceg was named in the NWSL Best XI, selected from a vote by players, media, fans, and coaches.
