PETALING JAYA: An abandoned poodle is among the dogs that will be put up for adoption at canine welfare project Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better's (MDDB) adoption drive on Sunday (Sept 17). "We just don't understand how people can easily dump their pets on the streets," said MDDB adoption coordinator Christine Lai. Those who want to adopt the poodle should go to the drive at Jaya One, Jalan 13/6, between 11am and 6pm. The adoption drive will be held at the space near the Block NB1 car park behind the Old Town White Coffee and Nandos outlets. "We will also be bringing six more puppies to the adoption drive and hope they too will be adopted," said Lai.
