Twenty months after they were found abandoned at Ghatkopar railway station, three siblings – two boys and a girl – are set to go to the United States (US), as Bombay high court recently cleared their international adoption by a US couple. Mark Stoll, 42 and his 43-year-old wife Annette have adopted 5-year-old Rahul, 4-year-old Durga and 2-year-old Suraj. The couple residing at Campbellsburg in Indiana is engaged in agriculture and have three biological children. On January 19, 2016, the Kurla Government Railway Police had found the three children abandoned at Ghatkopar railway station. The siblings were produced before the Child Welfare Committee the same day and were handed over to a shelter home run by a private organisation.
