At the time, we tried to engage Ababa Tesfaye in a conversation, but he had little to say. However, to my surprise, Ababa Tesfaye did not appear to be beaten by his situation, nor seemed sorry for himself. In recent years, due to aging, Ababa Tesfaye had several health complications and remained at home. In the afternoon of Monday, July 31, 2017, Ababa Tesfaye passed away at the age of 96.
