Looking to sell more ice cream, especially in the southern and western districts, Aavin has set the ball rolling for setting up an ice cream manufacturing facility in Madurai. The initial spade work for the facility, estimated at Rs. Work on the plant, with a proposed capacity of 10,000 litres per shift (three shifts a day), is expected to be completed in two years time after the tender process.
