KUALA LUMPUR: Men’s doubles Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik admitted to being disappointed with their Barcelona Spain Masters semi-final exit on Saturday. In the absence of several top pairs, including those from China, Aaron-Wooi Yik failed to capitalise on the advantage, losing 21-16, 24-22 to Denmark’s Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen. Speaking to Timesport from Barcelona, Aaron said: “Yes, my partner and I are extremely disappointed. All the national doubles players in Barcelona, including men's doubles Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani and womenss pair Vivian Hoo-Yap Cheng Wen, left for Paris yesterday to train with the French national team for the next one week before heading to Germany. It would have taken a toll on us if we had to fly back to Asia and then back to Europe.
