AT&T Gives Former NBC Boss Robert Greenblatt a Big Job at Warner Media

Last Thursday, HBO’s chief executive, Richard Plepler, announced he was leaving his network home of 27 years. As part of the reorganization announced on Monday, Jeff Zucker, the head of CNN, will also begin to oversee Turner’s sports operations. That includes the website Bleacher Report, as well as Turner’s deals with the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and the N.C.A.A. With the job, Mr. Zucker gets a new title: chairman of news and sports. Warner Media is home to some of the world’s most innovative, creative and successful brands, and we’re in a unique position to foster even deeper connections with consumers.”
