The incident occurred on Abdullahpur-Baipail Highway in Narsinghapur area on Monday morning. Due to the collision, ASI Jashim was hit by the edge of an iron rod protruding from the truck’s body. He was taken to the nearby women and children's hospital where the on-duty doctor pronounced him dead on arrival. Confirming the matter, Ashulia police station Inspector (OC, Probe) Jabed Masud said the deceased’s body is being kept at the police station and will be handed over to the family members.
