What is the policy trust of the ongoing public service reforms in Bayelsa State? I have been talking about this public service reforms for a long time now. I have been talking about the need to reduce the running cost of governance, reduce the wage bill and professionalise the public service. As it is in the Nigerian voters register that is the way it is in the Bayelsa payroll, from the local governments to the schools, to the state service, to parastatals. That is the central objective of the public service reform.
