Following two weeks extension for the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) congress in four states, which includes Kwara State, by the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) on Tuesday, the two factions in the Kwara State chapter of the APC say they are in the dark over the extension. The two APC factions denied receiving registration materials for the revalidation exercise said to have been sent to the state by the CECPC. The APC CECPC in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja endorsed by its National Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, had extended the registration and revalidation exercise of the party in four states of Kwara, Ogun, Imo and Rivers. The exercise which had earlier been scheduled to hold June 10, 2021 was extended by two weeks by the committee. We are yet to be contacted about any registration materials by the national and we don’t know where it was sent or who received it in Kwara.
