John Alechenu, AbujaThe National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has annulled the state congress earlier conducted in the Cross River State. This was contained in a resolution signed by the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole and the National Secretary, . The resolution partly read, “The National Working Committee at its meeting of 1st August, 2018, has reviewed the conduct of the congresses in Cross River State. Accordingly, the National Working Committee has voided the state congress earlier conducted and has ordered for the conduct of fresh state congress in Cross River State immediately.”In another development, the party’s NWC also announced the appointment of Yekini Nabena as acting National Publicity Secretary of the party. “This development is a sequel to the resignation from the party by Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi as the National Publicity Secretary.
