A man who has multiple warrants to arrest managed to evade police yesterday after they responded to information they received regarding his location. "We had information that he was at the address and we executed a search warrant," he said. There were 10 AOS members in full kit were deployed on the ground at the address and an additional five were in the van. "It just so happened that the AOS where in Waipukurau doing training so all the dominoes fell into place just like that," he said. Police also executed three search warrants in pre-planned operations, assisted by AOS, to locate an individual sought in relation to firearms offences two weeks ago.
