All of the staff from the North Dunedin branch have taken up positions at other ANZ sites around Dunedin. ‘‘The Dunedin branch is less than five minutes’ walk from the North Dunedin branch,’’ said Ben Kelleher, ANZ’s acting director of retail and business banking. ‘‘ANZ North Dunedin has seen transactions decline 17% over the past year,’’ the ANZ executive said.
