President of Market Women Association, Mercy Naa Afrowa Needjan made this known during a Mother’s Day Programme hosted by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in Accra. During the programme, she indicated that “the AMA is presenting that of the Makola market free hand sanitizers, free face mask for the market women”. She stated that over 170,000 PPEs were handed over to the Regional Minister and district assemblies last week to share for locals. In line with the exercise, the assembly has distributed 10,000 locally made masks freely to residents of Accra.
