Amid the coronavirus pandemic, it is the elderly among the most vulnerableALONE, the charity that supports older people, is extending its Covid-19 phone support line after the charity received numerous calls since they launched the additional supports last Monday. ALONE's support line will now be extended to weekends as well, available from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, with extra staff added to meet the demands. The service is a collaboration with the Department of Health and the HSE to support older people who have concerns, may be at risk or who have contracted Covid-19. Staff are at hand to answer queries regarding coronavirus and give advice and reassurance where necessary. Thank you for all your support!
