Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, member of Parliament of Narail and former captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team, has been made Awami League's sports and youth affairs secretary. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader revealed the information after the first presidium meeting of the newly formed central committee of the ruling party on Monday night. This post was not announced in the council on Saturday. Regarding the other vacant post, Quader said that the party presidium has given authority to the party president to nominate all the vacant posts later. The meeting was held at Ganabhaban on Monday evening chaired by Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.
