Enamul Haque Enu is the vice-president of Awami League (AL) Gandaria unit and his brother Rupom Bhuiyan is the joint general secretary of the same unit. CID Deputy Inspector General (organize crime) Imtiaz Ahmed disclosed the information in a press briefing around 3pm on Monday. Four money laundering cases were filed against the brothers, for their alleged link with casino business, illegal money transfer and corruption. According to CID, the duo had 22 properties in Dhaka and Tk19 crore in their 91 bank accounts.
