Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nawfel made the claim at a party meeting at the Bangabandhu Avenue office in Dhaka on Tuesday. "Plots are not only being hatched internationally but there are conspiracies within the party against Sheikh Hasina," he said, referring to the 2007-08 state of emergency. The AL leaders have been talking about national and international conspiracies against Prime Minister Hasina for quite some time. The meeting at the Bangabandhu Avenue party office was arranged as part of the preparation to celebrate Hasina's birthday. Nawfel said the dedicated leaders and workers of the party would foil all conspiracies against the party and the party chief - as they did in the past.
