She alleged on Tuesday that the ruling party ‘executed the enforced disappearances’ of her party’s men with the aim to perpetuate its hold on power. “They (government) thought these good men should be taken out to weaken and finish off the BNP. But nothing will happen to the BNP but they will continue these activities while remaining in power. She was speaking at an Iftar gathering with the families of the missing leaders and activists at Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka’s Gulshan. Khaleda said she hoped the missing BNP leaders and activists will be traced down once the Awami League leaves power.
