more-inThe Delhi Police on Monday recorded the statements of 15 people, including the victim, in connection with the incident where Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad assaulted an Air India employee on a flight last week. A team of the Delhi Police Crime Branch, under the supervision of DCP (Crime Branch) Ram Gopal Naik, reached IGI Airport to record the statement of Air India staff members including the crew of the aircraft in which the incident took place. Among those whose statements were recorded was 60-year-old duty manager Sukumar Raman, who was assaulted by the MP with a sandal following an argument. Crime Branch probingOther staff members of Air India who were present on plan during the scuffle also recorded their statement before the police. The case was later transferred to the Crime Branch“We have also asked for the CCTV footage of the scuffle,” said a police officer.
