The Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre, Trixie LohMirmand, has said that Artificial Intelligence and deep technology will shape and drive the future global economy. The DWTC EVP, the principal organiser of the ongoing GITEX Global in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday. LohMirmand pinpointed the theme of this year’s event, “Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy,” as a vital platform for harnessing the transformative potential of these technologies. “AI and deep tech will redefine tomorrow’s economy,” she stated, calling for increased collaboration among governments, industry leaders, and innovators. As part of the larger initiative to foster AI innovation, GITEX will be followed by the inaugural AI Everything Global 2025 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, aimed at building a responsible and forward-looking AI ecosystem.
