The owner of a Canadian auto glass shop recommends leaving vehicles unlocked to prevent thieves from smashing windows to steal stuff from the vehicle. Andy Dunleavy, co-owner of Standard Auto Glass in London, Ont., says it’s better to leave the car unlocked and empty of valuables than to pay for repeated window repairs.
