But UAE fought back twice to restore parity through Manea Aydh (35th) and Majid Rashid (53rd) before substitute Ahmad Fawzi scored the winner in the 74th minute. But Dheeraj saved the shot from the spot taken by Majid Rashid for a corner in the 35th minute. UAE restored parity in the 53rd minute through Majid Rashid who made amends of his earlier lapse when he scored from inside the box. UAE scored the match-winner in the 74th minute through substitute Ahmad Fawzi to collect full points.
