AFC Henley has become a charitable company, known as AFC Henley Limited. The change came into effect last month when it moved from an unincorporated association to a charitable company. The change brings an updated constitution, registration with HMRC, a new bank account and the formation of a seven-person board of trustees. The club, which has550 members in 42 teams, now has a six-figure turnover in revenue. Club members have use of the new £1m all-weather 3G pitch at Jubilee Park, built with the support of the Football Foundation and Henley Town Council.
