After weeks of speculation and waiting out the remainder of his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Kenny Omega—introduced as an Executive Vice President—has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. If the promotion would like to resume working with Omega, it will likely have to do so through a working relationship with AEW. With the entire nucleus banded together in AEW, NJPW will run into difficulties as it attempts to continue to gain traction without any of its biggest American stars. At the same time, AEW is an upstart wrestling promotion with limited star power and matchup possibilities. If the two sides do find a way to work together, the signing of Kenny Omega could be the catalyst.
