Relationship between India and Pakistan has soured even more post the Uri attack. Political parties in India targeted Pakistani actors who are or have been a part of the Indian film industry and called for a ban on them in the country. Not just the actors, channels decided to not air Pakistani content on Indian TV and radio. Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority or PEMRA has called for a complete ban on Indian content on Pakistani TV and radio now. Hindi films undoubtedly have a huge market in Pakistan and now that is definitely lost.
