The African Democratic Congress says it aims to register 500,000 new members in Oyo State in the next two weeks. The National Chairman of the party, Mr. Ralph Nwosu, disclosed this on Thursday during the inauguration of the state party congress committee in Ibadan. The chairman stated that the party had become a leading brand in Nigeria since prominent persons in the South/West zone of Nigeria had become members. “Let me assure you that our party will register 500,000 members in the state within the next two weeks,’’ he said. Also present were Senator Monsurat Sunmonu (ADC-Oyo Central); Mr. Abdulwasi Musah, Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly; and other members of the State Assembly: Olusegun Olaleye and Bolaji Badmus.
