The Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development (ACUD) has announced on Wednesday in press conference the results of a competition for engineering consultancies, to participate in the development of proposals and new ideas for the designs of squares and streets in the government, and the business districts of the New Administrative Capital. Ashour added that 13 projects were selected, and the jury selected three winners. The ACUD has allocated financial rewards for the first three winners and granted achievement certificates for the other10 projects. He elaborated that the New Administrative Capital project is a pioneering national project and is a cultural leap in the history of modern urban Egypt. Besides, due to the ACUD’s interest to search for beautiful and harmonious designs, it launched the competition in order to design the New Administrative Capital’s squares and streets, to have an integrated project aligned with the spirit of the current decade, while expressing the identity of the administrative capital.
