Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Deputy Director Mahbubul Alam Hanif has been suspended following allegations of graft and illicit enrichment. A notice on the matter, signed by ACC Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen, was issued on Sept 4. The commission had previously suspended Deputy Director Kamlesh Mondal on Jul 17 and Deputy Director Md Ahsanul Kabir Palash on Aug 6. The notice said that allegations of corruption, bribery and illegal acquisition of wealth have been raised against him.
